DONAVAN'S   CHILI   RECIPE

         INGREDIENTS; FOR SERVING 6-8

REDUCE OR ADD THE APPROPRIATE AMOUNTS
OF INGREDIENTS BY THE  AMOUNT OF PERSONS BEING FED.
 

2 POUNDS OF LEAN GROUND BEEF, TURKEY, OR EVEN CHICKEN.
1 LARGE CAN TOMATO PASTE
2 LARGE SPANISH ONIONS CHOPPED
2 LARGE GREEN PEPPERS CHOPPED
1 POUND SLICED MUSHROOMS
4 CANS RED KIDNEY BEANS
2 -28 OZS CANS DICED TOMATOES WITH JUICE
1 CUP OF KETCHUP
1/2 CUP WATER
3 HEAPING TABLESPOONS OF BROWN SUGAR
2 13 OZS CANS OF TOMATO SAUCE
2 TABLESPOONS "INSTANT" COFFEE
2 TABLESPOONS GROUND PEPPER
1 TABLESPOONS OREGANO
2 CLOVES OF GARLIC/ 4 TABLESPOONS GARLIC POWDER
LARGE PACKAGE OF CHILI POWDER
1 HEAPING TABLESPOON CAYENNE PEPPER (OPTIONAL)
HOT PEPPERS/ SAUCE TO TASTE.(OPTIONAL)
1 CUP OF INSTANT RICE (optional)



** IF YOUR LAZY OR DON'T HAVE THE TIME, YOU CAN SUBSTITUTE THE ONIONS,
 GREEN PEPPERS, BY JUST ADDING A  LARGE JAR OF SALSA SAUCE.

THE RICE OPTION HELPS IF YOU WANT MAKE IT GO FARTHER, AND HELPS TO COOL THE PALET.
ALTHOUGH THE CHILI ACTUALLY TASTE AMAZING ON A BED OF RICE
OR WITH TORTIA BREAD CUT INTO WEDGES.


OPTIONAL INGREDIENTS:

WOOD CHIPS OR SHAVINGS
CAR MAT DIRT
TOE CHEESE
BIRD DROPPINGS
BOOT HEEL SCRAPINGS
FINGERNAIL CLIPPINGS

ALL TO INDIVIDUAL TASTES!

DIRECTIONS:

 

   BROWN THE GROUND IN A DEEP PAN, THEN ADD THE ONIONS AND GREEN PEPPER. (OR SALSA)
ADD MUSHROOMS AND SPICES.
ADD 2 CANS OF TOMATO SOUP, ADD THE DICED TOMATOES, ADD HALF THE PACKAGE OF CHILI POWDER,
AND SIMMER FOR APPROX. 20 MINUTES.

ADD THE REST OF THE INGREDIENTS,
PLUS THE REST OF THE CHILI POWDER.
BRING TO A BOIL,
THEN TURN DOWN TO LOW AND
SIMMER FOR 30 MINUTES.

CHECK AND STIR OCCASIONALLY AS YOU DON'T WANT TO BURN THE BOTTOM.

MAKE CERTAIN THAT YOU HAVE ENOUGH CHILI POWDER
 IN YOUR BREW, KEEP TASTING THROUGHOUT
THE COOKING PROCESS.
IT'S SAFER TO HAVE TOO MUCH CHILI TASTE THAN
 "NOT ENOUGH".

TURN  STOVE OFF, AND LET THE BREW SIT
AND FEED ON IT'S SELF.
REDUCE OR ADD THE APPROPRIATE AMOUNTS
OF INGREDIENTS BY THE  AMOUNT OF PEOPLE BEING FED.

REMEMBER THAT IT TASTES BETTER THE NEXT DAY.

finest taste of Chili imaginable.


 Are there side effects?     
           It is unknown at this time, if any side effects will occur with  continued use of this recipe, though the author does recommend that cooks  warn their guests
               about possible gains in gasteural intensity,  flatulation or offensive odours which may occur
            during and after ingestion, and that the author and Grumpo Enterprises are not responsible for damages claimed, once digested..
